Hi,

today I wanted to change my resource field from 'BitlBee' to 'Everywhere/Linux/BitlBee' on one of my jabber accounts, and got the following:

[08:45:22] <padde> account set 3 resource Everywhere/Linux/BitlBee [08:45:22] [(process:7287):] GLib-CRITICAL : g_strcasecmp: assertion `s2 != NULL' failed [08:45:22] [(process:7287):] GLib-CRITICAL : g_strcasecmp: assertion `s2 != NULL' failed

Me stupid... I got the 'account set' syntax wrong.

But perhaps a better error message would help prevent stupid people like me posting bug reports because of a simple syntax error ;)

That's a very ugly error indeed. :-( And GLib is being very helpful by giving those error messages without any clue where they happened, which surely makes debugging even easier.
