If I add a person to my ICQ buddies with bitlbee, they typically get added with just their UID.

Wouldn't it be better if bitlbee got their name from the server and used that?

Granted, you would have to make some transformation rules to make sure the name is a valid irc-nick, but that shouldn't be too hard..? :)

Closing all OSCAR tickets, as ICQ switched to WIM which we don't support (the icyque purple plugin does)
