#984 closed defect (fixed)
Can't delete account passwords
| Reported by: | Adlai | Owned by: | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Priority: | minor | Milestone: | |
| Component: | BitlBee | Version: | 3.0.5 |
| Keywords: | password, settings | Cc: | |
| IRC client+version: | Client-independent | Operating System: | Linux |
| OS version/distro: | Arch Linux |
Description
It's not possible to delete a stored account password:
@Adlai | account 0 set password @root | password = `********' (hidden) @Adlai | account 0 set -del password @root | Failed to change setting
Note that this can be circumvented by setting the password to random garbage, so it's not a pressing bug.
