Description
Please notify me when a buddy is connecting to Jabber / XMPP via a cellphone or PDA. This will encourage me not to start a conversation with them because it implies that they will type each message to me more slowly than usual.
This feature request is related to #462 (AIM Mobile Contacts Not Differentiated), and #546 (MSN mobile contacts not differentiated).
I don't know if the XMPP protocol indicates whether a contact is on a mobile device. Maybe it just indicates what XMPP client(s) a contact has installed. But see http://www.google.com/search?q=jabber+OR+xmpp+OR+android+"mobile+indicator"
Look at #546 for some ideas on the proper UI to use to show mobile status.

I don't think there's a good way to detect this other than hardcoding a list of clients that are known to be mobile, and I don't like that very much. :-( It's too bad that the open protocol, of all of them, seems to lack this.
Please update the above ticket's reporter email address. It was reported by me, Jason Spiro.
