Description

If I go online on MSN with BitlBee and someone want to add me I get the following error: msn - Error: Error reported by MSN server: Internal server error/Account banned

And the connection lost, is this a bug?

I am experiencing this same behavior. I created a hotmail account, registered with msn, did an 

account add MSN <username> <password>

and then an 

add <connection> <handle> <nick>

.

msn - Couldn't log in: Error reported by MSN server: Internal server error/Account banned

Which BitlBee version?

I am getting a similar error. bitlbee version 1.2 installed from ubuntu hardy

Hmm. It happened before for me, but maybe Microsoft have changed their protocal's again,

Used to fail once or twice with this error message, then finally login, so far 12 attemps and no connection.

Could simply be MSN servers are down according to specifications here: ​http://www.hypothetic.org/docs/msn/reference/error_list.php

Will report back in the morning.
