As soon as the AIM Connection comes up, I am kicked from the server, meaning I am unable to use the bitlbee server any longer:

I see no core dumps appearing anymore, so I'll assume that this is over now. Thanks for reporting this, this was going on for some time but I didn't know about it until now.

Err ... actually, why am I closing this? I haven't fixed the actual *bug* yet. :-)
Quickly looked at some backtraces, and I don't really understand what's going on. :-(

Quite sure that this is okay now. No idea if this was a real bug or maybe just a miscompiled binary or something like that.
Ouch, that was an ugly night, it looks to me like many people hit this bug. I have many coredumps to look at, so I'll probably have enough material to fix this.
Meanwhile, I reverted the binary to an older version. Can you verify that things work properly again?
