Description
In the debian package. I'm running etch, installed bitlbee via apt-get install bitlbee and the part that writes to /etc/inetd.conf writes incorrectly. it writes "usr/local/sbin/bitlbee" it should right"/usr/sbin/bitlbee". Maybe the local part is correct, but it didnt work for me and I'm running a very straight forward install. I also tried with the preceding slash and it didn't work.

Hmm, where did you get your .deb from? The one I made (in the Debian archives) really shouldn't do that, especially not with the "/local" part. Can you dpkg -P the package, make sure there's nothing about BitlBee in your inetd.conf and then reinstall?
