Description
There are various issues with GTalk. First of all, some contacts repeatedly can't contact me and get errors when they attempt. They may show up as logged on when this happens, I don't recall.
There is also a problem where a contact logs off but bitlbee doesn't show the change in that contact's presence. Reconnecting the jabber module shows the actual contact's status (logged off). I don't know this goes one way, from being logged on to logged off, but I've only noticed as so.
How do I know they actually logged off? Well, my contact's told me that he's going to log off but never seemingly does, despite that hours pass beyond office hours (my contact works office hours).

This is a known problem with the old Jabber module. Please try out 1.1dev, it should work a *lot* better since it has a completely rewritten Jabber module. One of the improvements is that it properly handles buddies who log in from multiple locations. It will show a buddy as on-line as long as one resource is still available, while the old module shows a buddy offline once he logs out from one location (it didn't keep any state, or at least it didn't use it).
