small problem with AIM in win32 port

While using a public server, I was able to access my AIM list perfectly fine, but when I used localhost bitlbee says it's attempting to connect to my AIM account, but then does nothing else. Is this common with Win32 or am I missing something really important?

The message it gives before quitting is:

I know the Windows port is unstable. Let's keep it all in one ticket.

as closed The owner will remain Jelmer Vernooij.
