Description
Any buddies I remove from my buddy list continue sending their status to me and root tells me about it with messages instead of channel mode changes. This is very annoying since I removed them because I don't care what their status is. Now that root is sending messages about it, they get more attention than none.
here is an example of something root might send: <root> TOC - serv_got_update() for handle johndoe123: <root> TOC - loggedin = 1, type = 17

I think this is the same problem as #166.

This is a problem with the AIM server. It continues to send these online-offline-away updates for buddies, even if you remove them from your list. It usually happens when you use AIM from multiple locations.
Usually you can get rid of this by logging out and back in after removing the buddy. But I understand (from IRC) that this didn't work in your case.
I might find time to take a look at how other AIM clients remove buddies these days, I guess, like with many things on OSCAR, there are 836576 ways to do it and BitlBee maybe doesn't use the right one.
Decreasing the priority because this is more of an annoyance than a real problem.
