Description
A user, which uses the icq2go flash version, and is invisible, is shown as offline in bitlbee. If I talk to him, the messages arrive me and him normally but everytime I send a message, I get the "user is offline" message. (Dont know if this problem occurs with other ICQ versions as well).
I am not sure whether this is a bug, because some in the IRC channel meant it would be normal, that inivisible users appear only online if I am on their visible list. But I thought, bitlbee would "ignore" this inivisible stuff and interpret is as an away status, but show the user as online.

BitlBee just tells you what the server told BitlBEe. The server told that the buddy is offline, so that's what BitlBEe believes and tells.
It could of course display someone as on-line as soon as he/she sends messages. However, what about off-line messages? An incoming message doesn't mean someone is on-line.
So I think this is indeed intended behavious. I can imagine the "User is offline" line all the time is a bit annoying though. But this is a problem in your IRC client. IRC servers *must* send this away information again and again for every message an away person receives. IRC clients are supposed to suppress these messages when necessary.
This problem also exists if the receiver is using the icq.com-Client.
