Skype: 4.3.0.37-3 bitlbee: 3.2.2 skype4py: 1.0.35.r7 OS: Archlinux
SSL certificate created, pointed to in ~/.skyped/skyped.conf..
SSL certificate generated with command from manpage:
## When connecting in irc:

Password Accepted, Settings Accounts loaded
Trying to get all accounts connected...
skype - logging in: connecting
skype - Login Error: could not connect to server

I was missing a period in my skyped.conf file.
