Facebook buddylist shows only one or two online

Description

Facebook buddylist (jabber) incorrectly displays only couple contacts online. (for ex. bitlbee has 2 online and facebook actually has 47 online)

NOTES:

  • if you start a query with someone, the nickname shows correctly online in control channel
  • may be related to mass-leaves that happened yesterday (netsplit-like when you are the only one in your server)
  • problems started 23.4 23:40 UTC at im.bitlbee.org

I run bitlbee off of a Raspberry Pi running Raspbian, I'm running into the same issue. "blist" only shows 2-3 names max. When people are logging in and logging off it shows, but does not keep a consistent list of online users.

This may be an issue on Facebook's side. Pidgin also has problems showing the buddy list for Facebook chat.

Also, buddies that sign on and stay in invariably get signed off after a short while, so it isn't just a problem with fetching the online buddies at sign-in. I'm running it on my desktop, for reference.
