Description
Typing notices are an essential ingredient for a successful online chat based conversation. They allow you to avoid interrupting your dialog partner and make it easier to keep the flow of the conversation going.
Unfortunately, bitlbee-skype does not support typing notices (yet). I therefore propose to add them to the feature set. It should be quite easy to accomplish.
I am willing to debug the nightlies with this new feature.

So I looked into this today, ans sadly the API for this is missing in Skype:

Let's hope they'll do this, though a statement from 2007 saying "later this year" is not that promising.
