Description
Would be great to get the possibility to have a permanent "away" status and not to be set to online automatically once you put a command in or chat to someone. This is the case in MSN i dont know for other protocols as I use only MSN with Bitlbee atm.

Indeed, BitlBee doesn't change the away state when you talk. Some auto-away scripts do, maybe you want to take a look at that.

Oh, and in case you think there *is* something wrong with BitlBee, of course feel free to write another comment and we can take a look. But most likely this is a problem with your IRC-client.

/away <reason> is permanent. commands,chats does not change the away status. imho.
