Description
I'm coming from using centericq which features adding rss feeds as buddies too. it would be nic to have a rss user which could message you with rss updates as a user.
rss add <rssfeed> <check_interval> <rss_name>

Let's reopen this. The Jabber thing never really worked and I've just written a NewsBlur plugin that uses the new (not yet merged) RPC plugin framework.
50 or so lines of Python and it worked. I'll work it out a little more over the next weeks.

The Jabber module supports RSS feeds. Just find an RSS-Jabber gateway and you're ready. With some help from Google, this should work.
