Description
In 'chat' mode, it's trivial to tab-complete the nick you're following to send a message, but the resulting tweet does not have an '@' unless you prepended it manually. In Irssi, typing the '@' first loses the ability to tab-complete the nick.
http://identichat.prosody.im does this automatically for Identi.ca users. You join a Jabber MUC, then when sending @-replies, if a nick is the first word and '@' is not already prepended, it prepends it for you. If '@' is already there, it ignores it.

Already there in bzr, as we just discussed on IRC.
And yes, it's about time to do a release. :-)
