Description (last modified by )
I was first requesting an option to turn off the leading [00:00:00] timestamps, I now realize that's only for past tweets once you connect.
I with all of geert's tickets regarding Twitter. As well as had a few more enhancements in mind. Such as...
- Usernames not being formatted to all lowercase if they aren't.
- Simply renaming or being able to rename the 'chat' mode channel to just '&twitter'. (ie. control_channel =
&bitlbee', chat_channel =
&twitter') - This is really purely a cosmetic issue but is the 'twitter_' part of twitter_name@twitter really necessary?
- That's all I can think of now. Great job!

- set lcnicks false (does apply to all accounts though)
- Yeah, that'd be nice, I agree. Sadly with the current UI this gets a bit hackish. It'll be improved in the near future.
- It seems like the right thing to do. If it'd be just $username, it's likely to collide with your own nickname. If it'd be just twitter, it'd break if someone has multiple Twitter accounts (I don't know who does that, but I do have both Wilmer and BitlBee listed in "account list").
- Great, enjoy!
Let me know what you think. It looks to me like there are no action items in this bug for which I have to keep it open.
Note: See
TracTickets for help on using
tickets.
