Description
Jabber includes the ability to have status messages even when Available (i.e. not just Away messages). However, 'blist' only shows custom messages that have been set by users who are currently Away.
Can custom Available status messages be shown by that command as well?

OK, cool. Any idea when that'll make it into a release?
Also, are there any plans to allow for Bitlebee users to set their own status messages while Available?

I intend to release 1.2.5 *very* soon.
Setting a status will possible in that version as well using "set status" (per-account version is also availalbe).

Fantastic! I've got it compiled & running in Debian, and I'm glad to see the new status features are working great.
Thanks!
Yeah, Jabber isn't the only protocol that supports it actually.
I already spent some time on adding hooks for this over the last weeks, adding to blist (and /whois) wasn't hard. Done in changeset:devel,513.
