Someone just did this and showed me the confusing error message, which I couldn't explain until his paste showed me he already identified before.
This is confusing. :-/

identify now gives a clearer "You're already logged in" error message on subsequent calls.
Looks like I had the bug# in the commit msg wrong. Oh well.
