This bug is quite similar to

Some of my contacts are using Jappix as XMPP client. This is what I get in the control channel when these contacts talk to me in private :

irc : commande "(1423815452159)" non trouvée : <- (command not found) (1423815452159) PRIVMSG &bitlbee :maethor: test

Bitlbee should remove spaces in client name before sending IRC commands.

I had no idea how to reproduce that bug until I tried with libpurple. The built-in jabber never had this problem.
