Bitlbee doesn't handle newlines in tweets very well. Example: ​https://twitter.com/chockenberry/status/351723482842804224

I would suggest that bitlbee automatically strips the newlines in tweets before displaying them.

I personally don't want them stripped as they're used intentionally sometimes. Good thing is, there's a setting for it already.
