#207 | worksforme | "set" command sets *any* variables, but no way to remove them
Description |
On the stable bitlbee server (im.bitlbee.org) I accidentally did "set display_namechange true", which made added the new variable "display_namechange". I can't get rid of it anymore, since there is no "unset" or so. Could you either forbid the setting of unused variables, or allow some kind to remove them again? |

#1091 | moreinfo | "stack overflow in function dccs_send_start" on XMPP file transfer
Description |
This occurs while using both an XMPP account on my own server and a Gmail account. Bitlbee version is 3.2, built with OTR support. The issue occurs both with and without OTR enabled. Remote user initiates a file transfer (with Adium 1.5.7 on OS X Lion 10.7, using either a Gmail account or another XMPP one) and I immediately receive "Connection lost to localhost" from irssi. Running bitlbee with the -nv flags does not display any message when this happens. However, "bitlbee: stack overflow in function dccs_send_start" is appended to /var/log/messages. I thought this may be a duplicate of http://bugs.bitlbee.org/bitlbee/ticket/822 but it does not appear to be so. If any further information would be helpful please let me know. |
