Is there a way to access a Hipchat Guest Access channel? I cannot find details in the docs.

When I start a conversation with somebody, 1) messages sent until I get a reply have trailing whitespace. or when the other person starts a conversation with me, 2) and the messages I send until I get another response from the person have trailing whitespace.

The messages sent thereafter are fine. I use rcirc, but issue happens with irssi too. The other people usually use gmail web client, but this happens while they're offline and not using any client too. These are normal messages, no OTR is involved.

A example message with the problem was

test                                                                                                                                  

which shows the amount of whitespace.

My identi.ca account stopped working, so I tried deleting and adding it again. Here's what happens:

...and that's all she wrote. The password is definitely correct, I verified logging into the web interface with it. I'm running 3.2 not current bzr, but I don't see anything relevant in the changelog.
