#430 | worksforme | AIM (oscar) appears to be broken
Description |
I added the oscar account correctly. It said "Account successfully added" But when I do "account on oscar" it says: <root> oscar - Logging in: Signon: <my AIM username> <root> oscar - Couldn't log in: Authentication Failed <root> oscar - Logging in: Signing off.. I even tried changing the password of my AIM account and then using that same password in Bitlbee, and it still doesn't work. I am using the im.bitlbee.org public server. |

#461 | duplicate | AIM Cell Phone Contacts Not Functional
Description |
In the event one has added a cell phone as an AIM contact (AIM has had this feature for some time, see http://mobile.aol.com/aolproducts/imtomobile) to their buddy list, these contacts will not appear in your list of available contacts. I'm not sure if this is due to a limitation in the current code, but it's rather annoying. |

#462 | fixed | AIM Mobile Contacts Not Differentiated
Description |
AIM has, for quite some time, allowed one's account to "go mobile" when you are offline by forwarding messages to one's cell phone. In most clients, the fact that one has "gone mobile" is used to differentiate them from other contacts by means of an icon or some other method. I'm not sure how this could be done in Bitlbee (perhaps just simply noting it when a user is /whois'd?), but it would be rather useful. |
