(Please note I am very noobie with this)
I am using this with mirc and using a script. I have set it to log in and all of that good stuff, it works perfectly fine. I have set "set handle_unknown add" but when somebody adds me I get something similar to this printed to me:
<@root> msn - New request: The user _ () wants to add you to his/her buddy list. <@msn> yes <@root> You can use the yes/no commands to accept/reject this request. <@root> msn - Accepted: The user _ () wants to add you to his/her buddy list.
Basically telling me it has accepted the contact. However, the contact that has added me sees me as Offline.. Once I relog the MSN account I appear online to them.
Do you know how I can fix this?

BTW I can't reproduce this from Pidgin to BitlBee. Contact shows up online immediately.

Closing because the MSN plugin was removed in 7ec2ce8fd7d30a536823ef9e08a3dad80ce76d4e
Bug in the MSN module probably. Its contact list handling has become very complicated. Not sure what could be wrong, I've implemented what I found on the reverse engineering websites. :-/
