Description
Hi all,
Firstly, I would like to thank all of the developers/testers/etc... for all your great work. Love Bitlbee. :)
Browsed around in the bug wiki and didn't see this reported already (I might be the only person with this problem somehow?)
Anyhow, I'm running FreeBSD 8.2-p2 with the Bitlbee 3.0.3 port installed and everything is running perfectly fine. However, I am no longer able to log into my MSN account. I receive the follow error:
21:23 <@root> msn - Logging in: Connecting 21:23 <@root> msn - Logging in: Connected to server, waiting for reply 21:23 <@root> msn - Logging in: Transferring to other server 21:23 <@root> msn - Logging in: Connected to server, waiting for reply 21:23 <@root> msn - Login error: Error during Passport authentication: wsse:FailedAuthentication (Authentication Failure) 21:23 <@root> msn - Logging in: Signing off.. 21:23 <@root> msn - Logging in: Reconnecting in 900 seconds..
I'm assuming MSN changed their authentication process/procedure (again) but, as I'd mentioned, I don't see anyone else having this problem. Worked for years before. *shrugs*
Any help would be greatly appreciated and again thanks!

Huh, it used to work and suddenly stopped working? :-/
No problems with other clients?
So far you're the only one to report this. I hope this means that this was just a temporary failure, but of course it could mean a phased rollout of something new and annoying..

Yup. Worked without any problems at all and one day just no longer authenticated.
Not sure about other clients as I don't use any others. :( Sorry.
I'll try rebuilding the current Bitlbee port again and see if maybe it's just a fluke...

You can delete this. Turns out my MSN "Windows Live ID" password was changed.. Had something to do with XBox Live I guess. Thanks for the replies and help and again thanks for this great application. I love it!

Wow, that's ... annoying. :-/ Glad to hear it's not BitlBee though!
Enjoy the bee :-)
Sorry. Maybe I should have listed this as major? I just didn't know if it was considering I don't see others with the same problem...
