Description

I would love to migrate all my everyday messaging needs to IRC, bitlbee is almost there but is lacking one major component. Email reading/writing (maybe email folder management?)

I used to be a huge fan of this ticket. Really. I said this on irc some time ago:

I like the creative spelling of the word "protocol" in the subject, and the subtle reference to "Zawinski's Law", which makes me think this must be a really clever meta-ticket that wants to highlight how absurd most of the other feature requests can get.

But yeah. Nope.
