Description
ERC (irc client for emacs) does not seem to catch the voice/devoice messages from the server.
It worked fine with 1.0.4. I upgraded to 1.2.3, and it no longer caught the message.
This happens with Jabber, AIM, MSN, and Yahoo.

Extremely late response, I know ... but is this really still happening? It may be related to these changes coming from the server instead of root. You can change the simulate_netsplit option to revert this.
But it sounds like an ERC bug to me that you don't see these... I'll close the bug, if there's something BitlBee can do here feel free to reopen (in case you still read this at all..).
