I think it would be a good thing if, when you get a message from an unknown handle root asks a yes/no question to respond to the message, and if yes opens a new chat with that handle

it would be nice just a suggestion

I agree. Maybe autosend them to a new query window (or have an option to do so), since the way they're displayed now it's been known to happen for them to get burried under other status msgs root gives, after a reconnect or other status changes and it's fairly easy to overlook them.
