#1312 new defect

"chat add twitter <search> <channel>" displays tweets multiple times if they match multiple search criteria

Reported by: u20190323bitlbee@… Owned by:
Priority: normal Milestone:
Component: Twitter Version: Unspecified
Keywords: redundancy Cc:
IRC client+version: Client-independent Operating System: Linux
OS version/distro: Linux/distro-independent

Description

If you specify a semicolon-separated combination of follow:username and/or track:keyword (or track:#hashtag) as explained in https://wiki.bitlbee.org/HowtoTwitter, the channel in question will show the same tweet multiple times if it matches multiple criteria (using the same number/identifier in square brackets).

This means that following discussions which, e.g., use a number of hashtags in parallel ("chat add twitter track:#article13;track:#artikel13;track:#uploadfilter;track:#Urheberrechtsreform;track:#SaveYourInternet #urn") is very difficult.
