How about implementing msn avatars. I know you wouldn't be able to see other peoples avatars but it would be nice to set your own, i.e. via dcc transfer too @root. Just a thought.

It's a patch, but it's possible. We keep it separatlely as a patch because the implementation is not very suitable for people who don't run their own server. For now we'll keep it like that, we can consider chancing it in 3.0 or something. ;-)

Great enhancement! Can I somehow use it through the server without installing it on my computer? As I am using bitlbee on university computer, and can't install anything on it.
