Messages are not received correctly

I can not say if this happens with anything other than Skype, but for whatever reason, messages are either not being received, or are being received oddly.

I had a friend (Friend A) 'flood' me 40 numbers one after the other (from 1 to 40), and a few of them were not received. It's not only messages in quick succession, though, as one of his messages that were sent 3 minutes after his previous message was not sent. While watching Friend A flood, a few messages took a moment to register on the Skype window and managed to be sent at the same time as the next one(s), while not sending them through bitlbee. My internet is not perfect, so it's likely that may be part of the problem.

Another issue I noticed, a message I had sent to another friend (Friend B) before I even installed the plugin showed as being sent by Friend A some time after I installed it. It didn't show anything in the Skype window for Friend A. I think Friend B may have logged in at that time, though I can't verify.

Skype's api is half-broken. I don't get private messages at all with the last version of the client. Can't do anything about this.
