Description
Currently, extracting the name from the xml is done by finding the attribute associated with the "name" string.
It would be convenient with respect to hipchat if this string were made configurable per account from within bitlbee. For example, the hipchat xml stream sends down the "mention_name" field, and if bitlbee were able to pick that field instead, it would make hipchat @mentions easier to accomplish from the irc client.
Maybe something like: account jabber set jabber_name_field mention_name
Thoughts?

Ehhh, the only real use case for this one is hipchat, and i'm already taking mention_name as a higher priority nick for those accounts in the hip-cat branch. I don't think there are more use cases than that one. Closing this.
