The code that splits lines isn't perfect yet. Sometimes it splits lines too "late", so the IRC code chops off a bit when sending the message to the user.

It's said that IRC clients aren't that strict anymore about the max. line length (512 chars including \r\n and other IRC protocol overhead), so maybe the IRC code can be relaxed a bit. Or just adapt the splitting code to make shorter lines.

i registered with bitlbee and setup my accounts. i identify myself and it says "Password accepted" and says its connecting to msn, yahoo, etc. but after it says all that, it just sits there and stops responding to my commands. the bitlbee properties window still appears when i click on it and the log shows this:

I heard it is in the TODO, but I thought of submitting it anyways. That is the ability to group buddies in user defined categories/groups.
