[fcd5003]1bitlbee (1.2-2) unstable; urgency=low
2
3  * Fixed some packaging issues reported by IRC and e-mail. (Closes: #472373)
[58a1449]4  * Fixed proxy support. (Closes: #472395)
[628e601]5  * Added a BitlBee group so only root can edit the configs and BitlBee can
6    just *read* it.
7  * Manually deleting /var/lib/bitlbee/ when purging, deluser doesn't want to
8    do it.

[19a8088]16  * Switched to the new forking daemon mode. Added /etc/default/bitlbee
17    file, an init script. People who want to stick with inetd can do so, see
18    the defaults file.
[379c08a]19    (Closes: #460741, #466171, #294585, #345038, #306452, #392682)

[c4f2c6a]21  * No more MPL code in BitlBee, thanks to the Jabber module rewrite!

23  * Added libevent dependency (more reliable event handling).
24  * Removed GLib 1.x dependency because BitlBee really requires GLib >=2.4.

146
147bitlbee (0.91-2) unstable; urgency=low
148
149  * Removed the part that messes with tcpd configuration files because it
150    causes troubles for some people and because it's no problem for users
151    to edit those files by hand. (Closes: #275418)
152    When upgrading from previous versions, the bitlbee line won't be removed
153    from your tcpd conffiles. (This is only done when purging a BitlBee
154    install) You don't have to worry about BitlBee suddenly opening for the
155    whole world because of the removal of this feature.
156  * Updated German translation. (Closes: #274655)
157  * Removed the unreliable check for an existing BitlBee installation (a
158    /etc/passwd grep) and replaced it with something more reliable.
